This tribute expands on the local, state, and national police week celebrations, which happen from May 12th through the 18th. This symbolic gesture honors our fallen officers and the unwavering dedication and sacrifices of all law enforcement personnel. It underscores the resilient bond between the community and law enforcement, serving as a beacon of appreciation and support. The illuminated star stands as a powerful reminder of our collective commitment to safety and harmony within El Paso.

The lighting of the Star in blue symbolizes the deep respect and appreciation the El Paso community holds for its police force. It serves as a visual reminder of the bravery, dedication, and commitment our local law enforcement officers bring to their roles every day.
