Tropicana Homes Breaks Ground with Habitat for Humanity in Tres Sueños
September 10, 2025
Today marked a special moment in Far East El Paso as Tropicana Homes, alongside Habitat for Humanity and Home Depot, proudly broke ground on a new home that will soon belong to a deserving local family.
The new home, located in the Tres Sueños subdivision, will be built through the generosity of local contractors and vendors who are donating their time, talent, and materials. The lot itself was donated by Tropicana Homes President and Owner, Randy Bowling, who shared:
“We believe in empowering local families, whether through our own homeownership programs or community partnerships like Habitat for Humanity. Donating this lot is our way of helping more El Paso residents build stability, pride, and opportunity in a place they can truly call home.”
Speakers at the groundbreaking included Peter Moody, Executive Director; Ty Smith, Board President; and Taylor Moreno, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity, as well as District 5 Councilman Ivan Niño and Randy Bowling.
The future homeowners will be announced soon, and Tropicana Homes looks forward to seeing this project come to life with the support of the El Paso community.
